Tadao Tomomatsu at work

Tadao Tomomatsu has done many other jobs, most relating in some way to the entertainment industry.   These have included research, archiving, and event planning/coordination.

Tadao has had extensive experience in organizing large events.   He has run and organized science fiction conventions ranging in size from a few hundred to a few thousand.   Tadao also coordinated the logistics for LA Con IV: The 64th World Science Fiction Convention  (6,000+ attendees in 2006).   This involved the coordination of volunteer teams of drivers and trucks for the transportation of general supplies, food, art, and special film and television exhibits.   Subsequently, he coordinated larger teams for loading, unloading, setting up and tearing down the exhibits for this event.

In 2005 Tadao worked for Lingatheque: A Translation Company.   In this position he did general office work as well as created basic business templates for this company's use.   Tadao organized the computer systems, served as a Web Advisor and Technical Writer, while also training the office staff to usethe templates he had designed.

Other odd jobs that Tadao has done over the years include general office work, photography for internet businesses, videographic documentation, basic research for media shows and events, and organizing papers/videos/artifacts for various historical archives  (see Tadao's RESUME).
